Glycogen increases the glucose level and might cause the fungal growth faster and even allow the fungus to stick on the walls of the vagina.
Are antibiotics accelerate yeast growth?

If you have been taking antibiotic pills for a long time, the harmful bacteria will be killed along with this it may also affect the beneficial bacteria that grow in the vagina area causing the yeast to overpower the helpful microorganisms.
